Football's back!

First game of the pre-season comp was played last night. Saints play tonight. They're playing up in Cairns for some reason. It'll be stinking hot up there.

Came across your pics on Flickr. I moved to San Francisco with my wife last May and miss the Sainters desperately. I have to watch each game a day after on low res via Telstra bigpond!

If you ever come to SF, you should check out the MASSIVE second book sale the "friends of SF Library" put on annually. I bought a whole boot (trunk in Yankee) of books!

Thanks for the comment. I guess you know that we lost our opening NAB cup game - in torrential rain in Cairns of all places. All the new kids were playing, some potential there I think - tho' it was hard to assess properly due to the dreadful conditions.
I'm hoping for a good year. Hopefully you'll get to see some of it on the 'net.
