Today.....

The Shrub is in Sydney for the Apec meeting. Any school kids who go to the protest will be charged with truancy. Hahaha, kids are truant all the time and they never ever do a bloody thing about it. Just another attempt to scare people off and stifle free speech.

Equine influenza broke out in Sydney a week or two ago. Horses across the country are not allowed to be moved. The Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival is in grave danger of being cancelled. The Melbourne Cup is a huge event here - it'd be disastrous if it didn't go ahead. Ironically, the flu originated from a horse at the Sydney quarantine centre.

And more Sydney stuff - Susan is not Skiing in Bolivia today. As I type she should be getting on a train to Boronia to visit my little bookshop.
