I was tagged by Kwizgiver: of course there are rules: answer the questions, tag 5 people and then go off on your travels to their hometowns. The hardest part is that you can only give one answer for each of the questions. No ties, which sucks.
Best place to eat. Melbourne is renowned for its excellent eateries - literally thousands to choose from. But I'll go with the local establishment, The Acorn on Forest.
Best shopping mall. Again, plenty to choose from. The closest is Knox City. A place I avoid if at all possible. I'm not a fan of shopping centres.
Famous landmark. Flinders Street Station is probably Melbourne's best-known landmark. Right in the city centre and an unmissable meeting place.
Best tourism attraction. The Phillip Island Penguin Parade is, I think, the biggest tourist attraction around.
Best place for kids. Home. ;) Melbourne has tons of stuff for kids to do. Luna Park is fun.
Popular outdoor activity. Cricket season is just starting so I guess that's pretty popular at the moment.
Breathtaking view. The Rialto Observation Deck would be the place to go i suppose. Won't catch me up there though!
Only found here: Me. :)

Dang, and I was going to say "Only found here: Me" and chickened out!
The next logical step in this meme is to go visit all the places we've all listed. ...if only...
Cool! I look forward to the challenge.
I'd like to keep track of some of the others and read about their places.
If only indeed, cat.
I would too Susan..... waiting.
Done! My Hometown
